Loveday - a sporting talent with the dream of a sports career in Cape Town/South Africa

Florian Jung and Marie Christen-Jung actually live in a small town near Saarbrücken. Florian's profession as a windsurfer brought them to Cape Town, where an initially small idea turned into something big. From the production and sale of a small bracelet to give away and the link with their commitment to the education of township children from Cape Town, an "Inspiration Hub" was created, where children and young people from needy families living in the townships of Cape Town meet regularly, are looked after and, above all, the way to school for education and training is prepared. www.moncoeur.de/. Among these young people is Loveday, who writes the following about himself:

"Hello, my name is Loveday B. My dream is to become a professional athlete. I love to step on the gas and one day I want to compete in the Olympics. My inspiration is Florian's windsurfing career. With his help and the support of Mon Coeur, I have become the best runner in the Western Cape in my age group. Mon Coeur has provided me with a coach, accompanies me to the important competitions and continues to encourage me to take every necessary step in that direction. In addition to my athletic career, Nina makes sure that I don't neglect my school so that I can take control of my future and live my dreams."

We follow Loveday on a scholarship towards his upcoming high school graduation. For his subsequent education, Mon Coeur, we and others are looking for a solution to a politically caused problem. He and his parents come from Zimbabwe. They, like our scholarship holder Valerie in Johannesburg, are threatened with deportation from South Africa. From there, it will be very difficult to continue their successfully started education. A study or training place in a European country would be an ideal solution. But the hurdles are great. We would be very grateful to anyone who has advice on how to help
